NSW have claimed just their second State of Origin series in 13 years with an 18-14 victory over Queensland at ANZ Stadium.
After the Blues shot to an 18-10 lead early in the second half, they held on desperately after James Roberts was sin-binned for a professional foul in the 69th minute.
The game wasn’t without its controversy, with Boyd Cordner awarded just the second penalty try in Origin history in the first half to claim the lead in front of 82,223 fans.
