Queensland says Moses Mbye is a certain starter for Sunday’s State of Origin II despite confirming the utility suffered a serious allergic reaction on Friday.
Reports claimed Mbye was close to death after his airways closed when he was found slumped outside his Perth hotel room by team doctor Matt Hislop and treated.
“He stabilised and made a complete recovery. There is no risk with him playing or training, but he will need to have further tests done when he returns to Sydney,” Hislop said.
