Sea Eagles move Gorman to CoE role

Manly have announced chief executive Lyall Gorman will shift from his current role to boss of the NRL club’s centre of excellence project.

The move comes after reports Gorman is being investigated by the governing body over his role at Cronulla during their salary cap scandal.

“We’re excited to have someone with Lyall’s experience lead what is one of the most important projects and financial commitments in our club’s history,” Sea Eagles chairman Scott Penn said on Monday.
