South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Manly Sea Eagles Preview

The Manly Sea Eagles are soaring high, remaining undefeated as they enter Round 4 for the first time since 2007. However, to maintain their winning streak, they must overcome past struggles when they confront the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium on Saturday evening. Manly’s record at this venue has been less than stellar, with 12 losses in their last 13 appearances since 2013.

Despite some close calls in their game against Parramatta last week, the Sea Eagles managed to secure a 34-30 win. In contrast, South Sydney has faced a challenging schedule at the beginning of the season, and back-to-back losses, including a narrow 20-18 defeat against the Roosters in Round 3, raise some concerns. The Rabbitohs will be without Hame Sele, who failed an HIA last week, while Tevita Tatola and Shaquai Mitchell are also sidelined. Jacob Host, Daniel Suluka-Fifita, and Blake Taaffe will join the team as reinforcements.

On the other hand, the Manly Sea Eagles enjoy the advantage of fielding the same 17 players, providing continuity and stability for the team.
