The days of halves dominating major Rugby League player awards could be over if TAB trends are anything to go by for Origin Three.
Blues centres Tom Trbojevic and Latrell Mitchell currently dominate the major markets with 40 percent of the money on Mitchell ($10) for Player Of The Match despite Trbojevic and James Tedesco being equal $6 favourites.
Trbojevic however, is receiving strong support for the Wally Lewis Medal. ‘Turbo’ has now replaced Tedesco as $2.50 favourite to be named Player Of The Series with bets including a $10,000 outlay at $3.50. Tedesco is second favourite at $2.75 and Mitchell $3.
Trbojevic is also extremely popular in the To Score A Try market with 60 percent of the early money on the Manly superstar at $1.75.
