Storm re-sign NRL youngster Harris

Melbourne Storm have re-signed New Zealand international back-rower Tohu Harris until the end of the 2017 NRL season.

The Hawkes Bay junior’s three-year deal follows his outstanding debut year in 2013 when he missed just one game for the season, becoming a key component of Melbourne’s forward pack.

Harris, 22, represented New Zealand in last Friday’s Test match against Australia, his second time in the Kiwi jersey.

Melbourne Storm football director Frank Ponissi expressed his delight on re-signing Harris.

“Tohu is only in his second year of first grade and has already played some outstanding footy with us, with plenty more to come. He is a player who really lets his action on the field do the talking,” he said.
