Super Sunday looms for NRL top four

HOW THE NRL TOP FOUR SHAPE UP HEADING INTO SUPER SUNDAY

* Canberra v Sydney Roosters at GIO Stadium, 2pm

RAIDERS (3rd, 28pts, +157)

Form line: Four wins. But they haven’t really been tested in recent weeks like they will be against the Roosters.

Keys to victory: Josh Hodgson. Without a doubt their most influential player and acts as another playmaker in the No.9.

Defence. Have turned things around this year and are in the top four for fewest points and metres conceded.

ROOSTERS (2nd, 28pts, +192)

Form line: Three wins. Have been patchy all year and lapped last-placed Gold Coast on Sunday.

Keys to victory: Sam Verrills. With Jake Friend out until the finals, has been asked to deputise at hooker.

Their forwards. With Boyd Cordner and Sio Siua Taukeiaho expected to be out for at least another week, they will need to aim up against a big and mobile Raiders pack.

* South Sydney v Melbourne at Central Coast Stadium, 4pm

RABBITOHS (4th, 28pts, +93)

Form line: One loss. Were soundly beaten by Cronulla and must find something to kick-start their run to September.

Keys to victory: No Sam Burgess. The Souths skipper looks set to miss the vital clash for his head high on Matt Moylan.

Confidence – the Rabbitohs are clearly down on it at the moment with the likes of Cody Walker still searching for their early season form.

STORM (1st, 34pts, +271)

Form line: One win. Blew Brisbane off the park after being given a shake-up by Manly the week prior.

Keys to victory: Cameron Smith. Still the form hooker of the game but gets a good test against his heir apparent Damien Cook.

Dale Finucane. If there’s one thing Craig Bellamy knows how to do, it’s bring through forwards on the production line. Has averaged 118m this year after making his NSW Origin debut.
