Wests Tigers forward Adam Blair has escaped sanction from the NRL judiciary for a chicken wing tackle in his side’s 26-0 defeat in Gosford on Thursday.
The incident drew a penalty, with former referees boss Bill Harrigan suggesting the tackle deserved a “minimum two to three week” ban on Triple M radio.
But the New Zealand international was not charged by the NRL match review committee on Friday.
Sea Eagles prop Brenton Lawrence was slugged with a grade one dangerous throw on Blake Ayshford.
Lawrence will escape a ban with an early guilty plea.
