Wests Tigers legend Robbie Farah is set to announce his retirement from the NRL, drawing to a close a stellar 16-season career.
There is strong speculation Farah will call time when he fronts a media conference on Tuesday at 11:00am with coach Michael Maguire and CEO Justin Pascoe at Leichhardt Oval.
He scored a try in his 300th NRL game on Saturday in Newcastle in a victory over the Knights and all but 26 of those matches were with the joint venture.
Farah had a two-season stint at South Sydney (2017-18) after falling out with then Tigers coach Jason Taylor.
The 35-year-old won a premiership with the Tigers in 2005 and played 16 State of Origins for NSW, while also representing Australia in eight Tests.
