Surprisingly, the Strikers demolished the ladder leading Scorchers yesterday by six wickets, but they still find themselves as the underdog heading into this one.

While Fawad Ahmed was enormous with the ball in hand, it is tough to read too much into a win over a COVID depleted Perth team.

The Stars made short work of the Strikers only four days ago thanks to an 83-run effort from Joe Clarke, and it just feels as though the Stars have turned a corner with two wins from their last three games.
