Returning home after a six-game road trip, the Los Angeles Clippers will host the Boston Celtics at STAPLES Center on Friday night. The Clippers finished their travels at Cleveland on Wednesday, claiming a 121-99 victory behind an efficient 36-point, eight-triple display from Paul George. As such, the club is 11-2 from its last 13 outings and will be looking to defend a six-game home winning streak. Meanwhile, the Celtics will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing 116-111 loss at Sacramento which left them with a 2-3 record against the Western Conference this season. Kemba Walker was rested for that contest, leaving Jayson Tatum (27 points, 10 assists) to shoulder more playmaking responsibilities. However, Walker should return on Friday, although Jaylen Brown (questionable) could replace him on the sidelines.
