Brisbane Bullets vs Melbourne United Preview
The Bullets and Melbourne were originally scheduled to tip off on Thursday, but they’ll instead enjoy an extra day’s rest as they now meet on Friday night.
United has opened -5.5 in the market, which seems pretty generous considering they remain one of only two unbeaten sides in the competition.
After opening the season with back-to-back losses to the Hawks, the Bullets have responded in a big way by winning two straight over the Kings and Taipans at home.
Brisbane should feel confident in the fact they’ve won both of their last two outings against Melbourne, but this is obviously a much tougher United outfit to the one they saw last year.
That said, the Bullets have been a very profitable play as the home underdog against Melbourne covering in five of their last six games.
With Perth potentially looking ahead to Sunday’s home game in Bendigo against Perth, there’s a good chance United might just overlook the Bullets altogether.
