This mightn’t be the most interesting game on paper, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it turns out to be the most exciting over the weekend.

The 36ers and the Taipans both find themselves towards the bottom of the NBL ladder thanks to respective five-game losing streaks.

Last week, the Taipans were manhandled by the Wildcats in Perth, but they did put up a fight in their two-point loss to the Kings a couple of days later.

Amost in reverse, the 36ers lost in overtime to the Phoenix before suffering a 10-point blowout against the ‘Cats.

All that in mind, it’s very difficult to feel confident in either of these two sides, which has me leaning towards the Total.

The Under has saluted in the last two meetings between Cairns and Adelaide, largely due to the fact both sides rank bottom three in points-per-game this year.
