The Timberwolves slumped to their 14th loss in 16 through a listless 118-94 result against Philadelphia on Friday. Elsewhere, Cleveland put forth a similarly disappointing display to lose 102-81 at New York, marking its lowest score since April 15, 2018. As such, the Cavaliers have now won just one of their last six road games, indicating there should at least be a glimmer of hope for Minnesota in this one. With that said, if D’Angelo Russell and Naz Reid (both questionable) join Juancho Hernangomez, Jarrett Culver and Towns on the sidelines, the Timberwolves’ chances will take a significant hit.
