Detroit Pistons vs Cleveland Cavaliers Preview

Fighting for supremacy in the Central Division, the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers will play the second game of this season series at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Wednesday night.

Their first meeting went the way of the Cavaliers 128-119 on December 26 behind Collin Sexton’s 32-point display.

More recently, Cleveland lost 115-108 to the Lakers despite the best efforts of Andre Drummond, who finished with a 25-point, 17-rebound double-double.

Meanwhile, Detroit upset the Joel-Embiid-less 76ers 119-104 due in part to Delon Wright’s career-high 28 points.

If the Pistons are to add to that victory, they will need to overcome an eight-game losing streak in division play.

Detroit is expected to welcome back Derrick Rose for this game, although Blake Griffin will replace him on the sidelines.
