Their first meeting went the way of the Mavericks 124-112 on January 20 behind Kristaps Porzingis’ 27-point, 13-rebound double-double. Porzingis was similarly effective during the Mavs’ latest 128-108 win at Minnesota, finishing with 29 points. As well as backing up that victory, Dallas will be looking to improve a 9-2 record from its last 11 home games. Meanwhile, Indiana will be hoping to extend its four-game road winning streak against the Southwest Division while also adding to Wednesday’s 116-111 home win against Detroit. Nicolo Melli and J.J. Redick joined Dallas yesterday via trade, however, it’s unlikely either will be available for this matchup.
