This is their first meeting in 2020-21 after the Pistons surprisingly won last season’s series 3-1. Detroit was again able to create an upset last time out by claiming a 122-111 home win against Brooklyn, led by Jerami Grant’s equal-career-high 32 points. The Pacers also played the Nets last time out, albeit with a drastically different outcome, as they were beaten 104-94 after a horrific first half which saw them trail 62-30 at the main break. As such, the Pacers have now lost their last four games. If that streak is to continue, Detroit will need to overcome its own nine-game winless run in division play.
