A win for the Heat on Saturday night would certainly keep things interesting with only seven games remaining before the finals.

Brisbane still has plenty of work to do sitting seventh on the Big Bash ladder, but if they were to win here against the ‘Gades and somehow beat the Thunder on Monday, the Heat would still stand a mathematical chance at the finals.

Unfortunately for Brisbane, both games will come on the road, which has largely been a problem for Darren Lehmann’s side this year.

The Heat have won only two of their three games outside of Queensland, while their track record against the Renegades in Melbourne isn’t much better.

Brisbane hasn’t won against the ‘Gades at Marvel since 2013, so there’s a good chance the home side might put one last dagger through the Heat’s season.
