The Lakers will return to STAPLES Center having suffered a humiliating 114-89 loss at Utah which marked their heaviest defeat of the season. Elsewhere, Portland most recently lost 111-106 at Denver. This will mark the second meeting between these teams this season, with the first going the way of the Blazers 115-107 on December 28.
