The UFC stays at the Apex in Las Vegas this weekend with another great fight night card.
Aussie Tyson Pedro returns from a long injury lay off on the prelims but there is plenty to look forward to.
Our full UFC Fight Night: Lemos vs Andrade can be found below.
Amanda Lemos vs Jessica Andrade
Tip: Jessica Andrade in Round 4, 5 or by Decision
You’d be mistaken for thinking this is a classic, grizzled veteran taking on the young, up and comer but Lemos (34) is actually much older than Andrade (30).
It terms of experience though, Andrade has Lemos covered considerably.
Brazilian Amanda Lemos has just 13 professional MMA fights to her name, with just the single loss and five wins on the trot.
She won back to back fights by TKO before winning a close decision against Angela Hill in December last year.
Andrade won the UFC Strawweight title in May 2019 when she dumped Rose Namajunas on her head before losing it straight away against Zhang Weili.
She made her Flyweight debut against Katlyn Chookagian in a fight she won but was no match for Valentina Shevchenko when challenging for the the title.
Amanda Lemos is naturally very athletic and is dangerous through the first couple of rounds especially, throwing kicks and combinations.
Her weakness may be her grappling which was evident when she was taken down and controlled by Angela Hill who is not known in this area of MMA.
Clay Guida vs Claudio Puelles
Tip: Clay Guida at $1.94
Clay Guida is a legend of the sport and his longevity is evident by his 58 career professional fights.
He debuted in the UFC way back in October 2006 at UFC 64 which was headlined by Rich Franklin and Anderson Silva!
Guida won two fights in 2021 from three entrances into the octagon including a decision win over Michael Johnson.
Claudio Puelles is a Peruvian fighter who is a purple belt in Luta Livre.
He comes into this fight off the back of four straight wins including two submissions.
Winning his way into the UFC through TUF Latin America in 2016, he has fought just four times since.
Clay Guida has one of the best chins that we have seen in the UFC with just two KO/TKO losses from 21 career losses.
His best attribute may be his cardio and I think he will do enough over three rounds, with his experience, to get the win.
Tyson Pedro vs Ike Villanueva
Tip: Tyson Pedro by KO/TKO/Submission
Aussie Light Heavyweight Tyson Pedro returns to the octagon for the first time since December 2018 having suffered a myriad of injury problems.
He had seven wins from nine pro fights before he suffered an injury to his ACL during his fight against Shogun Rua in Adelaide back in 2018.
The now 30 year old is a black belt in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Kempo as well as BJJ and five of his seven wins have come via submission.
He also has a TKO win over top Light Heavyweight contender Paul Craig!
Ike Villanueva is his opponent for this comeback fight and the 38 year old has just the single win from his last five fights.
All four of those losses have been by KO/TKO.
This looks the perfect match up for Pedro to return with a win!
