The Melbourne Vixens have been the best performed team in the 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season and they are the $1.65 favourites at TAB to win Sunday’s grand final versus the West Coast Fever ($2.20) at Nissan Arena in Brisbane.
The Vixens have garnered 83 percent of interest from TAB customers to defeat the Fever in this year’s championship decider.
The Vixens had 11 wins and one draw in their 14 regular season games and easily won their major semi-final over the Sunshine Coast Lightning 63-47 a fortnight ago.
The Fever – third on the ladder at the end of the regular season – stopped the New South Wales Swifts from claiming back-to-back championships with a 67-62 victory in their minor semi-final.
The Fever then thrashed the Sunshine Coast Lightning 73-59 last Sunday in their preliminary final.
In their two meetings this season, Melbourne won 68-59 in Round 5 and in Round 10, the game finished 63-all.
