The Blues bubble may well have burst in the last week, first going down to the Crusaders before a late defeat against the Hurricanes.
On the bright side whatever is plaguing them at the moment shouldn’t be too much of an issue here.
The Chiefs continue to struggle, falling short of the Hurricanes by just two points last week to move to an atrocious 0-5 record in Super Rugby Aotearoa.
Even then, they have been in all of their matches and the Blues haven’t exactly been blowing opponents out.
That line of 7.5 points looks like it is in the right area and with the Blues still the better side, that’s the play to take for this contest.
