David Pocock could be sidelined again

Champion Wallabies and Brumbies flanker David Pocock is flying to Brisbane to consult with his knee surgeon amid fears he could be ruled out for another extended period.

Pocock reinjured his left knee in the Brumbies’ Super Rugby win over the Western Force in Perth on Saturday.

It’s the knee he had recontruction surgery on early last year after rupturing his ACL in the round three clash with the NSW Waratahs.

Pocock will have further scans on Tuesday and meet with his surgeon in Brisbane.

In the meantime, he has been ruled out of the Brumbies’ round three match against the Hurricanes in Wellington on Friday.
