The ACT Brumbies will pull no surprises when they announce their new coaching structure on Friday.
Stephen Larkham and Laurie Fisher were the only candidates to replace South African jake White and the Canberra Times reports Larkham will be the new head coach with Fisher announced as the club’s new director of rugby.
“[Laurie and I] will help one another. When you’ve got one head coach they get dragged away from rugby a lot,” Larkham told the newspaper.
Both were assistants to White with Larkham handling the backs and Fisher the forwards.
Retired flyhalf Larkham is a Super Rugby winner with the Brumbies and a World Cup champion with the Wallabies.
Fisher was the Brumbies’ head coach from 2005 to 2008.
