The Queensland Reds have confirmed the addition of former Wallaby Scott Higginbotham to a stacked 38-man roster for next year’s Super Rugby season.
Higginbotham, 30, returns to Ballymore on a three-year contract that will commence once his duties with Japanese club NEC Green Rockets end in early 2017.
The other new face is ex-NRL winger Lachlan Maranta, joining fellow recruits Quade Cooper, Stephen Moore, Caleb Timu, Leroy Houston and George Smith.
