Scrumhalf Tate McDermott has played his way into Queensland’s starting side to play the Brumbies on Sunday, while Bryce Hegarty will return at No.10.
Wallabies pair Izack Rodda and Taniela Tupou are also welcome additions for Brad Thorn after being rested for last weekend’s comeback defeat of the Sunwolves, with Rodda to come off the bench.
Chris Feauai-Sautia has been named in the centres ahead of Duncan Paia’aua, who starts from the bench along with Isaac Lucas and Moses Sorovi.
