The Western Force have not been disgraced in any of their Super Rugby fixtures this season, but a maiden win still eludes them.

There is no reason why they can’t be thereabouts once again.

They have covered the line in three of their four matches as underdogs and historically they have outperformed market expectations against the Waratahs.

The Waratahs produced easily their best performance of the season to date when they beat the Reds on Saturday and a repeat of that effort would make them far too strong for the Western Force.

Consistency has been an issue for the Waratahs though.

They have failed to record back-to-back wins over the past 12 months and they have covered the line in only one of their past four games as away favourites.

I’m not sure that the Force will be able to claim their maiden win, but they are more than capable of giving the Waratahs a scare.
