Club Brugge remain third in the Jupiler Pro League table with a 2-0 win at Mons.
It was a routine win for Christoph Daum’s men on Sunday night, with Lior Rafaelov giving them the lead on the stroke of halftime and Joseph Akpala scoring in the second half.
They are now seven points shy of leaders Anderlecht and two clear of fourth-placed Standard Liege, who won their game, 1-0 at Cercle Brugge on Sunday.
Michy Batshuayi scored the only goal of the game at the 49th minute.
