Matildas at unbackable odds to beat Jamaica in Womens World Cup

Australia is at Winx odds with Sportsbet to power past Jamaica and cruise into the knock-out stage of the World Cup.

The Matildas are $1.03 and Jamaica at $91 to win the third and final Group C match. A drawn result is $19.

A score-line of 8-0, for the Matildas, is the best backed, while a 3-0 is the favourite result at $6.00. A 10-0 win for the Aussies is $200 outsider and a 1-all draw is $71.

The Matildas gun striker Sam Kerr is $3.00 favourite to be the first goal scorer and she holds 93% of money. Teammates Caitlin Foord and Chloe Logarzo, who scored against Brazil, are $4.33 and $8.00 respectively.

“Winx won 33 consecutive races and we just need the Matildas the make it two in a row, to move on to the next stage. They showed great heart to come from behind and beat Brazil, so a loss here would be one of the biggest upsets in world sport,’’ said sportsbet’s Rich Hummerston.
