There is good and bad to take from the Mariners win last weekend, the good is that it was their first victory in ten games, the bad is that it was only over Perth so it is not necessarily a sign all is right in Gosford.

If they can somehow get something from Melbourne City this weekend then we might be able to start treating them as a competitive prospect.

But there is a reason City is $1.42 to win this game (at publish), having needed to dig deep and see out a tense finish against Sydney FC last week.
