The chopped/changed/abridged A-League weekend will conclude in Melbourne on Sunday evening, and City will be confident in their chances of recording another win at the expense of the Perth Glory.

City are another club who really haven’t made the most of their chances this season, but they’ve done enough to sit fifth on the ladder, and within one win of top spot. They suffered a disappointing defeat to Western United last weekend; a result which was compounded by that opponent’s inability to maintain a 2-goal lead midweek.

The Glory recorded just their second win of the campaign over Sydney FC two matches back, but they were unable to frank that effort when dropping all three points to the Wanderers on Wednesday night.
