It’s always one of the highlights of the A-League season, and the Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC will contest the fifty-seventh edition of the Big Blue on Tuesday night.

Sydney do boast overall bragging rights, having won the fixture on twenty occasions, the Victory have won on twelve occasions, while we’ve also witness sixteen stalemates.

The Victory are poised to build on their record, in my opinion, and they have been excellent since the beginning of the season, losing just once to sit atop the ladder.

Sydney’s steady return to form adds a bit more intrigue, and we’ll have a great idea of what to expect from them after Saturday night’s match, but I’m siding with the Victory regardless.
