Second-last Sheffield United still only have one point from a draw with Fulham to show for their efforts this season. They opened the scoring against Liverpool last week – via a Sander Berge penalty, just their third goal of the campaign – but were run down 2-1.

Man City sit 13th in the EPL after a slow start by their standards, recording two wins and two draws (they have a game in hand). The heavyweights were held to a 1-all draw by West Ham last weekend, but racked up comprehensive midweek UCL wins over Porto (3-1) and Marseille (3-0) either side of that surprise stalemate.

Man City blanked Sheffield in both encounters last season, winning 2-0 at Etihad Stadium and 1-0 at Bramall Lane. Sergio Aguero scored in both games.
