It is shaping up to be a very miserable ending for Ange Postecoglou’s first Premier League season, with Spurs sauntering to the finish line.

Wednesday’s loss at home to Man City was their fifth in their last six games and after spending the early part of the season being labelled as title contenders, potentially falling as low as sixth is going to be a pretty rough conclusion.

The only thing working in Spurs’ favour here is that while their form is poor, Sheffield’s is horrendous with the Blades locked in to last place on the Premier League table thanks to a historically bad defensive record.

Sheffield United has lost their last six matches, and 27 of 37 so far this season with 101 goals conceded.

Look for Tottenham to at least end the year on a high note by belting the Blades on their way back to the Championship.
