It’s time to push the panic button in Brisbane, the Roar have now gone five matches without a win and have scored a grand total of two goals in that time.

Something has been missing from this side since their 5-2 demolition of Melbourne Victory, they have lacked a sharp finishing touch and cannot seem to find their footing.

Western United on the other hand will enter this match knowing they have a 2-1 edge on the Roar in their short but somewhat eventful rivalry.

Perhaps the only thing that will give the Roar hope of edging a tight contest is the fact that Western United is coming off a midweek clash with Sydney FC and their aging squad might not back up as quickly as others do.

I’m not entirely sold on the hosts ability to back up and come away with a win and the Roar have been good enough to grind out three draws in the last month, but I am expecting a low scoring, tight affair just like their three prior meetings.
