Wolverhampton and Crystal Palace are part of a four-team logjam tied for sixth after accruing 10 points from their first six games.

Wolves are unbeaten in their last three, but after beating Fulham and Leeds 1-0 they will be disappointed to have let a late lead slip in last week’s 1-all draw at home to Newcastle. Raul Jiminez scored Wanderers’ opener last week – the fourth game he has scored in this season.

Palace went to Fulham last weekend and came away with a 2-1 win. Wifried Zaha produced his fourth goal of the new campaign.

Last season the teams drew 1-all at Selhurst Park, but Wovles prevailed 2-0 at home.

Crystal Palace will be more than satisfied with their start to the season. But form-wise their stunning win over Man United still appears to be an outlier – I’m backing miserly Wolves to shut them out again at Molineux Stadium.
