Unheralded American Danielle Collins is through to the semi-finals of the Australian Open after a topsy-turvy win over Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
In a battle between two unseeded players, Collins won 2-6 7-5 6-1 at Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday.
The American advances to a semi against the winner of Tuesday night’s headline clash between Australian Ashleigh Barty and Czech No.8 seed Petra Kvitova.
