Roger Federer is into his 57th grand slam quarter-final after a four-set win over Marton Fucsovics at the Australian Open.
Federer was noticeably rusty after his third-round epic against Australian John Millman that went to a match tiebreak but came out on top of the Hungarian 4-6 6-1 6-2 6-2 on Sunday.
The No.3 seed will meet Tennys Sandgren in the last eight, with a 50th match-up against Novak Djokovic looming large in the semi-finals.
