Wimbledon Men and Womens Odds, Betting Preview and Big Bets – 2021

Ash Barty’s withdrawal from the French Open with a hip injury hasn’t scared punters away from backing her at Wimbledon, with the Aussie star favourite for the Women’s singles with TAB.

With three weeks recovery and a surface that suits, Barty has been the popular pick at $7.50, ahead of seven-time Wimbledon Champion Serena Williams ($8), who is on the second line of betting as she eyes a record equalling 24th Grand Slam following runner-up results in 2018 and 2019.

World Number 1 Novak Djokovic is the out-and-out favourite in the men’s tournament at $1.72 and holds the bulk of the money, with TAB taking some sizeable bets on him over the past two weeks.

Djokovic is chasing his third consecutive Grand Slam victory for the year and 20th overall which would see him equal Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer’s all-time record. While Nadal has withdrawn from the event, Federer is rated a $13 hope of winning in what could be his farewell appearance at Wimbledon.

Wimbledon kicks off on Monday, with daily play commencing at 8pm AEST.
