Australia will have a women’s semi-finalist at Wimbledon for the first time since 2000 after compatriots Ash Barty and Ajla Tomljanović line up against each other in tonight’s quarter-final.
World number one Ash Barty is $1.20 with TAB to defeat the unseeded Tomljanović ($4.60). Eighty-five percent of the money has been for Barty in match markets, as well as the Tournament Winner market where she has almost one-third of the total hold at $3.10. Barty started the tournament at $7.50.
In the men’s competition, Novak Djokovic is $1.45 to win his 20th Grand Slam ahead of his 50th Grand Slam quarter-final. Meanwhile, second favourite Roger Federer ($9) has become the oldest player to make the men’s last-eight at Wimbledon.
